Description: Language for spell check defaults to American English. When I select English in the Spell check window it keeps going back to American. This has only started happening since the last update Steps to Reproduce: 1. Write Colour rather than color 2. Red line appears under word 3. Right click word and select "Spelling..." 4. Select English (UK) from drop down menu 5. English (USA) is selected 6. Drop down menu is greyed out and no other language can be selected Actual Results: I am prevented from changing the spelling language Expected Results: As in the previous version of Libre Office Writer before I upgraded, English (UK) should be selected. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Ubuntu 20.04 "OpenCL is not used" Version: 6.4.3.2 Build ID: 1:6.4.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
Hi Richard, Thanks for reporting. (In reply to Richard from comment #0) > Version: 6.4.3.2 > Build ID: 1:6.4.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 > CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; > Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Here "UI-Language: en-US" means you are using American English interface, which naturally defaults to American spelling. Would you please go to Tools > Options dialog, in the Language Settings > Languages page, set "User interface" to "English (UK)", and see if it solves your problem? > Calc: threaded
