Print to PDF of the Query1 Form works with Apache OpenOffice AOO417m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 46059c9192 2019-09-05 10:18:25 (Thu, 05 Sep 2019) - Darwin x86_64 Also works for me with LibreOffice : Version : 6.4.3.2 Build ID : 747b5d0ebf89f41c860ec2a39efd7cb15b54f2d8 Threads CPU : 8; OS : Mac OS X 10.15.4; UI Render : par défaut; VCL: osx; Locale : fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Langue IHM : fr-FR Calc: threaded Haven't yet tried with a developer build.
Unfortunately, testing a print to PDF with Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: a7b9cbbdd4b56b2f64b023f25de185353a6f01d9 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.4; UI render: GL; VCL: osx; Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded fails to produce any output for me whatsoever. This is different behaviour to the presently described bug and is specific to macOS.
(In reply to Alex Thurgood from comment #5) > Print to PDF of the Query1 Form works with Thank you, Alex. I see records while printing (in the preview), but they are absent in result file. Sigh, testing with Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha1 Build ID: 6a03b2a54143a9bc0c6d4c7f1... CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.15.4; UI render: GL; VCL: osx; Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded gives me the same problem of not being able to print to PDF, so can't test futher, sorry. I do see the data in the Print Preview of the print dialog, however. @Vera : am wondering whether this might be specific to your Qt/KDE backend ?

Tested with Libre Office 6.4 can be seen in the preview but when printing it did not work.
Not reproduced with 6.4.4 or master on Win. Repro on Linux back to the oldest commit of 6.3 bibisect repo. Arch Linux 64-bit Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 0960a8c5ce48adb1bc7bd434ed5242b51ce72149 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.7; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Built on 26 June 2020
In the last commit of Linux 50max repo, the PDF has content, but is flipped upside down.
Dear Vera Blagoveschenskaya, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
Works for me with: Version: 7.3.4.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 728fec16bd5f605073805c3c9e7c4212a0120dc5 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 12.4; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR Calc: threaded I see the data in the query1 form. Clciking on the PDF icon in the main toolbar creates a PDF containing the data from the database.
Tested this one with OpenSUSE 15.3 64bit rpm Linux. LO 6.4.7, LO 7.0.5 and LO 7.1.5: Table control without content. LO 7.2.5, LO 7.3.4.2 and also LO 7.4.0.0.beta1: Table control with content. Seems the bug has been gone. There will be no fix for older versions of LO, so I will set this one to WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen if you could reproduce it with a current available version (LO 7.3 or newer).
