Description: Inserting/Changing the header/footer in impress doesn't apply immediately to the current slide, it is only visible as soon as one switches to another slide. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create an empty presentation 2.Create a 2nd slide (1st is a special case) 3.Menu>insert>Header and Footer 4.Change some text anywhere 5.Apply to all and close the dialog Actual Results: The header/footer stay unchanged. Flipping to 1st slide and back to the 2nd: the change is effective. Expected Results: Change is applied immediately. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Refresh current slide.

So with OSX 10.15.5, On LO6.4.4 and 7.0.0.0.beta1 it is still here Note: here adding a footer does the job immediately. modifying an existing footer doesn't (delayed). Vincent.
It seems there is some unreliability in reproducing here: now I tested on Linux a bunch of times and sometimes it is not rendered immediately when inserting.
Repro 7.2+, was wprse with OO. Removing regression. In newer versions, including 6.0 up to now, you need to switch slides like 2,1,2 before applying footer that will not work.
This works in recent versions (≥7.4?)
