Description: My system is Windows 10 64 bit. If hardware acceleration is enabled in Impress, I can't draw over slides, if "Ignore OpenGL blacklist" is checked I can draw, but the context menu in presentation mode is not appearing. With both HW acceleration and OpenGL turned off, I can draw on slides and open context menu, but can not delete drawings from slides after finishing the presentation. However, the ink can be erased by restarting Impress without saving the presentation. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a new presentation 2. Turn off hardware acceleration and OpenGL 3. Enter presentation mode (F5), right-click and choose "Mouse Pointer as Pen" 4. Draw something 5. Exit the presentation mode (ESC) 6. Reenter to the presentation mode (F5) and proceed to the slide with the drawing 7. Erase the drawing with right-click => "Erase All Ink on Slide" 8. Repeat the steps 5-6 However, if you will skip steps 5, 6, and 8 it will work fine and the ink will be erased. Actual Results: The drawing is reappearing Expected Results: Ink should be erased Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-US Module: PresentationDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: yes
I would say the OpenGL problems are duplicate to bug 129898. The behavior will be better, when in version 7.0 the rendering engine "Skia" is provided. You can try it already, see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/GetInvolved#Test_Pre-releases. I cannot reproduce step 6. After step 5 all drawings are erased automatically, no drawings visible in the slide pane. So in step 6 there exists no drawing, that can be erased.
Could you please try to reproduce it with a master build from http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ ? You can install it alongside the standard version. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the master build
