Description Bruce Armstrong 2020-05-18 11:28:51 UTC
Description:
This occurs regardless of whether that first (top) row contains the Table Header or just table contents.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a table in a Writer document
2. Run Export Directly as Epub
3. View the Epub to confirm the first row has 'disappeared'.

Actual Results:
This makes it impossible to export a table properly into an Epub. However, the same tables export as PDF and HTML without any problems.
The damaged EPUB tables are not fixed in Writer 6.4.3.2 either.

Expected Results:
An Epub with Tables that include their Header row.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Result with different steps

1. Insert table with table icon (or Strg+12): Can't reproduce
2. Table => Insert => Heading option disabled: Can't reproduce

Comment 3 Bruce Armstrong 2020-05-27 13:10:13 UTC
Removing the first row of the table only occurs when the Header On AND the Repeat Header on each page option is also on.

The deletion then happens whether the Table is created via the Table-Insert or Table Icon is used.

The Repeat ON option seems to be where the fault is...

Still present in

Version: 7.6.0.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 41d6f628ba3f046f16b5fa9fa8db8d4c2ab3b582
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: CL threaded

Steps:
1. In a writer document: Table -> Insert Table
2. Insert 3x3 table with heading option active
3. Write some content to table cells
5. File -> Export As -> Export directly as EPUB

Result:
Heading row is missing in exported EPUB
Comment 7 BogdanB 2024-09-29 15:34:39 UTC
It's working if you choose Export As... -> Export to EPUB... -> And from the options choose Layout method: Fixed.

With Reflowable method it is still not working.
