Description: Spell check proceeds as expected until reaching the word "Recently" at the beginning of a paragraph. The word has been edited, with tracked changes on. Spell check shows multiple open square boxes where chracters were deleted. Steps to Reproduce: 1. open file.docx 2. Press F7 to check spelling 3. Correct spelling errors normally 4. Encounter the word "Recently" with tracked changes Actual Results: lLibreOffice freezes. Utililzation on one CPU thread pins at 100%. Cannot cancel or close LO from within the program. Expected Results: Should have ignored deleted characters and checked "visible" text for spelling. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Opened the file again, "showed" changes, and removed the lowercase "r" from "Rrecently". Was then able to spell check without freezing LO. Kosultor, there has been some recent bug fixes with spell check. So could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
Spell check on this document runs OK in 6.4.4.2 (openSuse). Thanks for the updates.
