Description Menoo 2020-05-23 16:53:32 UTC
Description:
If you drag a docked toolbar's title bar, it becomes a floating toolbar (as expected). But, there is no way to redock the toolbar.

Note: I'm using a laptop with an external monitor connected which provides 2 different screens that extend into each other.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click and drag a docked toolbar.
2. Toolbar now floats.
3. Try instructions on FAQs on how to redock a toolbar and none of them work.

Actual Results:
Toolbar is permanently floating.

Expected Results:
Have an easy way to redock a toolbar. You have to work pretty hard to figure out how to dock/undock and then the instructions don't even work.

Reproducible: Always

Hello Menoo,

Thank you for reporting the bug. Unfortunately I can't reproduce in

Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x86)
Build ID: 4c4b3218b8595a9809ffade0cfd064f3d9335dff
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 17763; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-CA (en_CA); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Could you please try to reproduce it with a master build from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ ?
You can install it alongside the standard version.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the master build

I don't seem to have the problem anymore with the beta. Toolbars work better overall, especially on my high-DPI screen. I haven't yet tested on a multi-monitor setup where i had the problem originally.

Thanks for testing. Let's put to worksforme. If the problem returns with multi-monitor setup, you can set back to unconfirmed.
