Description Ferenc Devecz 2020-05-25 17:58:24 UTC
Description:
The “Links to External Files…” command of the Linux version LibreOffice Calc does Insert function instead of Paste once the work file (*.ods) is Saved and later Open in Linux. The new Updates overwrite the cell references of the worksheet except only the first row and hence the data is not showing the refreshed but the previous value. The same error happens with *.ods files what was created in Windows and opened and saved in Linux version later. The correct Paste function in Windows *.ods file is overwritten by Insert after saving and open the file in Linux and running refresh.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. As described in description, create a sheet with "Links to External Files…”
2. Save the file
3. When the file is opened again and update then it does an insert and not the expected Paste

Actual Results:
The LibreOffice does an Insert and not the expected Paste

Expected Results:
The Libre office should do a Paste after opening and updating a previously save file with "Links to External Files…” function.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The new Updates overwrite the cell references of the worksheet except only the first row and hence the data is not showing the refreshed but the previous value.

Version 6.0.7 is rather old. Please test with a newer version. An easy way is to use an appimage: https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/
