The red and black boxes on the chess board(text object) disappear once the chess board is selected and dragged around. They come back once you drag and place the text object somewhere else. (47.08 KB, image/jpeg)

Description:
Effects draw text objects with garbage.

Affect:
Entrance, Emphasis and Motion Paths effects.

Steps to Reproduce:
See attachment.

Actual Results:
Garbage appears on the slide.

Expected Results:
Garbage should not be.

I also found that when dragging the chess board (text object) around the slide, the red and boxes disappeared at times, leaving only the yellow background of the object. They came back once I dragged the object around again.

JBrown: I only saw a yellow line appear in the text box after the animation, but only on Windows, not on Linux. I opened bug 134318 for it. Did you also see the line or something else? A screenshot would be nice.

Defects appear on the chessboard, and outside it. Symbols have gaps. The presence of defects depends on the relative position of the objects and their sizes. Checked only in the FreeBSD system.

Thanks, it definitely looks like the same issue, just more severe. I will close as duplicate of my newer one as it has the bisection result.
