Description: I have attached a number of samples when saving an ODT to MS Office Steps to Reproduce: 1. create document in LO 2. save it to .doc 3. save it to .docx 4. export to PDF Actual Results: When open the .doc in MSWord, it opens with errors. They are corrected by MSW and when save and reopen is fine Expected Results: should have saved correctly Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-GB Module: TextDocument [Information guessed from browser] OS: Linux (All) OS is 64bit: yes version: master~2020-06-01_02.36.12_LibreOfficeDev_7.1.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz

Notice the following: in the original document, the text paragraph next to Figure 3 splits, That is already happening in Writer v7.1 so not a Save File conversion issue. (note: when I cleared direct formatting the this came right) In Word, some of the figure captions are ABOVE the picture, but they still show correctly under the picture when I open the DOCX in Writer. (Note: in Writer 7.0 the PDF would not open in Acrobat that comes with Win10, but is fine when saved by Writer 7.1)
I confirm it with Version: 7.0.0.0.beta1 (x64) Build ID: 94f789cbb33335b4a511c319542c7bdc31ff3b3c CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB Calc: CL but if you open docx in Word and save it as doc you recieve also information that there are problems with compatibility. So I think this is nothing LO can solve (but I'm not a developer).
This cannot be confirmed because you are reporting document-based bug instead of proper issue-based bug. So you need to split ODT from 12 to 6 pages to 4 pages etc and also remove content and find out exact issues, and then search for them, they are likely reported before.
