Inconsistent Information: Pattern or Bitmap?

Step to reproduce
1. Open Draw
2. Enable Tabbed interface (View > User Interface > Tabbed)
3. In the Home tab, there's Area Styling / Fill drop down, select Pattern, weirdly the right drop down next to the Pattern that should show available pattern is empty.
4. Create a shape and then select that Pattern drop down list > still empty. More strange, when I set Pattern from Properties sidebar> Area > Fill choose Pattern and select one available pattern the Pattern drop down in the Home tab showing "Bitmap" instead of "Pattern"

Empty pattern list

Moreover, try to choose Pattern from Home tab and the shape back to original fill (blue Tango) color and the Pattern list still empty.
