Should have said the 'object' is the groups in pink on either sheet.
Also the sys crashes to a profile reload, not complete reboot as I first said.

I think the relevant line in the syslog is:
Jun 10 07:24:09 Mint org.a11y.atspi.Registry[19653]: XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server ":0".

For *this* problem I have seen crash references to Xorg but the crash log is a 30Mb file.

I can't reproduce it in

Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: be5dc50d551afe6064b1b64d0470ae5e250acd1c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

You're using an old version of LibreOffice.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Thanks for comment.
I prefer repositories but they are often out of date.
Will try updating in next 36 hours.

Confirm 6.4 behaves.
Thanks for attention.
