I repro both with Win and Linux, but I could not repro with Linux 6.5 repo! Bibisected with Win 6.5 repo, but not a nonsensical result about DOC export! Grr! Hmm, don't have much luck lately
@Caolan Is this easy to fix without a bibisect?
Seeing as the shape dragged into writer from the gallery doesn't have a writer style category of its own to show in the style deck I imagine the style list just shows the prior selected style category and its probably always been fairly arbitrary what's listed there under this circumstance. Once you click into the document, and give it time to populate, it picks up the current context and fills with content.

(In reply to Kira Tubo from comment #7) > Regression introduced by: > https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/86b1b062cfc2768a971bb842de1c16f8646d4b4b It's not a regression as Caolan pointed out with comment 4. The Stylist has a context, eg. text, frame, table (which are somewhat mixed with the different attributes) and so far we do not list a "shape style" requested in bug 89369 for example.
