Description Marco 2020-06-17 04:59:46 UTC
This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-50d5a276-78cb-4cb4-a640-7aee4553c289.
=========================================
Corrected a wrong DDE expression (Matrix-Formula)
=DDE("soffice";"c:\users\...\auftrag.ods";"tarif.a3:i16")

Auftrag.ods used to be followed by an esclamation mark (!)
I omitted the full path here.

Calc crashes when opening the file.

Opening Leistungserfassung.ods crashes calc

Leistungserfassung.ods (Tarif.A13:I14) references a range (array) of cells in Auftrag.ods by means of DDE-Function :
={DDE("soffice"; "C:\...\Autrag.ods"; "Tarif.A13:I14")}

Actualization of linked data is enabled (yellow marked):
See image 'Actualization of linked file data.png'

Repairing Leistungserfassung.ods after crash works, data is updated propperly. File can be saved again. Reopening file leads to crash.

Hello Marco,
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Comment 4 Marco 2021-07-10 14:14:47 UTC
Unluckily still present.
I can open the file "Leistungserfassung" at first, even refresh the datalink (well actually nothing seems to happen). Then I close and save the file. When reopening writer wants to repair it. Confirming that writer notifies a crash and asks for sending a crash dump.

Doesn't crash for me, but I can't make the updated link persist. It is reset to the original upon save & reload

> May it be related to my profile settings somewhow?

yep, maybe the profile got corrupted somehow.
To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
