Description Ulrich Windl 2020-06-17 07:54:24 UTC
After some formatting mistake I tried to re-assign list styles.
I could assign new style by double-clicking it, but I could not by clicking on the line (to put the cursor to the correct paragraph) and then press Ctrl+Shift+Y (redo last command).
For other styles (like character style) this works.
Comment 1 Dieter 2020-07-23 11:25:12 UTC
I can't confirm it with

Version: 6.4.5.2 (x64)
Build-ID: a726b36747cf2001e06b58ad5db1aa3a9a1872d6
CPU-Threads: 4; BS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI-Render: GL; VCL: win;
Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE); UI-Sprache: de-DE
Calc: threaded

Keyboard-Shortcurt in my version is strg+Rück.

Have you checked keyboard-settings in costomise dialog?
Does redo works with Toolbar-Icon?

Reproduced with 6.4.4.2 (x86) in Windows:
Key-combination Strl+Shift+Y does nothing, and in the menu the entry is grayed-out. Undo works, however.

I upgraded to that version, being unable to confirm that you cannot confirm: It still does not work in that version!

Simple sample document

Created a simple document with three list items.
Test:
1) put cursor on third (last) item
2) double-click a different list style (style changes)
3) put cursor on second item, then press Ctrl+Shift+Y (nothing happens)
4) Press "undo" (^Z) (change is undone.

I've followed your steps. My keyboard shortcut is ALT+Rück and it works. Sorry, that I can't help.

Alt+Backspace is _Undo_ here, not Redo! Are you sure you tried redo?

You're right, sorry. But following your steps, Redo is greyed out, so I won't expect that something is happening. Following steps work for me with your attachment:
1. change paragraph style of third line
2. Undo (Strg+Z)
3. Redo (Strg+Y)

Version: 7.0.1.2 (x64)
Build ID: 7cbcfc562f6eb6708b5ff7d7397325de9e764452
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

PLEASE read what the bug is about: "I tried to re-assign list styles." using the "redo" command.
First you mixed up Undo with Redo, and now you mix up "list style" with "paragraph style".

> 2. Undo (Strg+Z)
> 3. Redo (Strg+Y)

This works in 3.3.0, but is already broken in 3.5.0.

However, I found a duplicate
