I can't reproduce it in

Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 00be56d9db396d284f66ab723d6fbb898b888dfb
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Could you please try to reproduce it with a master build from http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ ?
You can install it alongside the standard version.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the master build

Rotated image

Open attached document. Save as docx. Open it in Word or in LibreOffice. The rotated has wrong size.

It is an export problem. If I scale the image in Word, it is correctly shown in LibreOffice.

Most times photos in jpg-format are so large, that they need to be scaled down to fit on the page.

Dear NSO LibreOffice Team, to reproduce a problem it is necessary to attach the original document to the bug report. Showing the resulting error is useful to understand the description, but is not enough to reproduce the problem. I have created such document here.

Tested in Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)

I think, that the problem is duplicate to bug 123569. If you think, that your problem is different, then attach an example document in odt-format. And describe the error more exactly.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 123569 ***

Hi, Regina Henschel

You need to confirm whether it is a duplicate bug. From the attachment you provided, only the rotation position of the image is different, and there is no problem of missing image
Comment 8 Regina Henschel 2020-07-16 11:21:46 UTC
If you think, that your problem is different, then attach an example document in odt-format. We need the original document, not screenshots.
Comment 9 Regina Henschel 2020-07-16 11:22:47 UTC
.. and in case it was in import, we need the original docx document.
