Description:
When i click Insert > Field > Other field > Database and Browse it crashes completely. So its impossible to import a databse. What can i do ?

LibreOffice 6.4.4

Linux Ubuntu 18.04.4 and Kubuntu 20.04

Steps to Reproduce:
 click Insert > Field > Other field > Database tab > Browse

Actual Results:
It hangs and does nothing and becomes unresponsive, the user is forced to kill the process

Expected Results:
It should prompt for a database file


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: Yes



Additional Info:
LibreOffice 6.4.4

Linux Ubuntu 18.04.4 and Kubuntu 20.04 (Testes on 2 machines)

does upgrading to 6.4.5 solve the problem?

I think Ubuntu doesn't install Base by default, can you check if you have libreoffice-base package installed?

Can you try again after this: Help - Restart in safe mode and then Continue in safe mode.
