Documents with notes are the bane of my life. I'd like a way to set the default action for printing to have "no notes" yet I have to turn this off every single time I print resulting in microscopically small text and wasted paper. So: I'd like to be able to set defaults - especially "no notes" for LO
Having wasted another ream of paper due to libreoffice print notes in the margin" off by default I'd really like it if this "feature" could be user set. It does not appear in the default print dialogue pane and if notes aren't being displayed in the document there is no warning that they will be printed.
Please, could you add your version information, you can copy it from menu: Help - About Libre office - copy button.

Do you mean Footnotes/endnotes in Writer or Notes in Impress or .. ?
Apologies if I wasn't clear. In writer notes in margins are printed by default even if they are not displayed or apparent in the normal view. I do not want notes printed but I frequently end up printing documents with them because LO keeps defaulting to this without warning. I've looked and cannot find any way to set the default action to "no notes". -------- [for calc I would really like a way to set default cell alignment and can't find a way to do this either]

With "Notes" do you mean comments seeking for Tools > Options > Writer > Print: Comments = None?
Perfect - thank you - I've previously sought this under tools:options:libreoffice:print but had not notice this! Apologies for not finding it and thank you for your patient help- I will put new toner in my printer to celebrate!
