Created attachment 162636 [details] First fewDemonstration pages AND validator output at end Using LibreOffice 6.3.6.2 (x64) on Windows 10: epub export does not work correctly (according to http://validator.idpf.org/). The epub output displays properly on my viewer, but the glitches the validator indicates mean it is basically unpublishable. Worse, because the Validator is so primitive, the diagnostics look intended for the writer of the conversion tool and are useless to an end-user like me. I will attach a file with both my test document and a screen shot of the validator's complaint. The errors occur for both epub 2.0 and epub 3.0 exports. When I submit the epub of my complete novel, I am given dozen of errors, most of which look to me like they mean there is unpaired XHTML or some XHTML is left in the epub that needs to be completely removed. I can forward that file if it would help.
(In reply to LeeHigbie from comment #0) I will attach a file with both > my test document and a screen shot of the validator's complaint. So let's change status to NEEDINFO meanwhile. http://validator.idpf.org/ opens an empty page. Ist that correct?
