Description: In menus where I can choose a language for text in the document, I sometimes see languages I do not expect. I have never used them in LibreOffice documents. They are different from the language of my operating system. Steps to Reproduce: See attachment for a reproducible example. Actual Results: See attachment. Hungarian appears in the language menu that opens through the status bar. Expected Results: English should be the only language in the menu for the given configuration. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 6.4.5.2 (x64) Build ID: a726b36747cf2001e06b58ad5db1aa3a9a1872d6 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: default; VCL: win; Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this except it's another language which appears. I use French UI, first it shows "Français (France)" (French France) + "Irlandais" (Irish). I create a new odt file and go back to the initial one, I take a new look at languages, this time it shows "Français (France)" (French France) + "Anglais (U.S.A.)" (English USA).

Do you have Hungarian language support installed at all? I can reproduce this bug in a 6.4.3 parallel installation with all languages installed, but can not reproduce in my main 6.4.5 installation where the only languages installed are "English (US)" and "Chinese (Simplified)".
Created attachment 162990 [details] Hungarian available as default in language options This is a parallel installation of fresh (see #comment 0). I tried to clean it up by deleting files manually - not by running a script. I followed the instructions under Installation Cleanup on the wiki: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Windows#Installation_Cleanup In directory C:\Program Files\LibreOffice_6.4.5\share\registry\res I do not see Hungarian at all, but maybe there is more to delete elsewhere? The attachment shows that Hungarian is available for selection in the language options.

Dear christos, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b.
