Description tom 2020-07-13 21:48:56 UTC
Description:
When you set "Range: Selection/Selected sheet(s)" in the General options of the PDF options, then ALL sheets of the ods are exported to PDF instead of only the current one, which by default is highlighted as selected.

I have found a work around: I insert another sheet but leave it empty. Then I select the sheet I want to print plus that empty new sheet. In this case the option "Range: Selection/Selected sheet(s)" works fine and only the pages from the sheet I want to export are exported.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have an odt with multiple sheets that are filled with data
2. Go to File > Export as PDF: General and select "Selection/Selected sheet(s)
3. Export and realize that the entire spreasheet with all sheets has been exported

Actual Results:
All sheets are exported

Expected Results:
Only the active sheet should be exported

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
This bug is existing for ages since many releases.

Workaround: Create an additional empty sheet and then select the desired sheet plus the empty sheet and find only the pages of the desired sheet get exported to PDF as wanted.

I can't repro such issue, are you sure only that sheet it's selected?

Please test with a clean profile, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode?

Reproduced in

Version: 6.4.4.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.4-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

and in

Version: 7.0.0.1
Build ID: 04ba7e3f1e51af6c5d653e543a620e36719083fd
Threads da CPU: 4; SO: Linux 5.4; Realizador da interface: padrão; VCL: gtk3
Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); Interface: pt-BR
Calc: threaded

In both cases the PDF exported files contained all the sheets of the .ods file.

Mistaken.

Since the first sheet was divided in two pages, it appeared that the LO Calc had printed both sheets, but in fact it printed only the first.

So, correcting the comment:

I was not able to reproduce in

Version: 6.4.4.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.4-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

nor in

Version: 7.0.0.1
Build ID: 04ba7e3f1e51af6c5d653e543a620e36719083fd
Threads da CPU: 4; SO: Linux 5.4; Realizador da interface: padrão; VCL: gtk3
Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); Interface: pt-BR
Calc: threaded

I did and it worked! In Safe Mode everything works fine. So I guess there is no bug here but a broken user profile of mine, right? Have you got any idea how I could correct my user profile to work, instead of resetting it?

Best

Changing to RESOLVED since it seems not to be a bug but a broken user profile.

The less lost, it's going to your user profile and renaming registrymodifications.xcu so it is recreated on the next run of LibreOffice.
