Somhow the selection is lost. I tried in a new document with 2 pages and a chart and I can not reproduce. I tried also in a new document with 2 pages and a formula and I can not reproduce.

So it's something very very specific
Bugs that aren't reproducible with more than a single document are unlikely to be fixed unless bibisecting is successful and a developer is willing to fix. As this is a regression it would be cool to fix that as this may cause other problems too.
