Created attachment 163500 [details] Screenshot: Underline in black, color of font is red - "automatic" not working Open the attached screenshot. Shows the end of a little report. There you could see -45,13 €, written in red, and underlined in black. I tried to underline with "automatic", but the underline will be shown in white (must have a look at the generated report and try to edit it). So I have to set a color and the color doesn't match to the color of the currency value, if it changes to red.

Have to add the version and the system: Version: 6.4.4.2 Build-ID: 3d775be2011f3886db32dfd395a6a6d1ca2630ff CPU-Threads: 6; BS: Linux 4.12; UI-Render: Standard; VCL: kf5; Gebietsschema: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI-Sprache: de-DE Calc: threaded (OpenSUSE 15.1 64bit rpm Linux)
Hi Robert, Testing with Version: 7.1.0.1 Build ID: b585d7d90ab863bf29b2d110c174c0c2a98f3ee4 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.16; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Unfortunately, I can not reproduce. If I set the font colour of the double underline attribute to red, save the report, save the ODB file, then relaunch the report, the field in question is displayed in red double underline.
Hi Robert, Re-doing this after reading your report more carefully, I can confirm that setting Automatic as the font colour attribute seems to turn the underlines white. Confirming.
@Robert, I take it that this functionality worked in a previous version, and that your report relates to a regression in the usual behaviour ? In which version did it work correctly previously ?
(In reply to Alex Thurgood from comment #5) > @Robert, > I take it that this functionality worked in a previous version, and that > your report relates to a regression in the usual behaviour ? > > In which version did it work correctly previously ? Tested it with the LO 6.1.5.2. It's the same buggy behavior. Automatic underline is almost white. So I don't know if it's a regression.
Dear Robert Großkopf, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
Bug is still the same in LO 7.5.0.3. Automatic underlining produces white line, impossible to get an automatic change from black underlining to red underlining (for negative values). Tested with OpenSUSE 15.3 64bit rpm Linux.
