Description Antonio 2020-07-31 16:33:32 UTC
Description:
Since I update to the latest versión 6.4.5.2 for two times I have lost all my work. I use to work with "odt" format (writer) and I save all the files correctly.
No message of error appears.
For at least two times when I try to open the file, it appears corrupt only appears signs.
Finally, I am using a backup system to protect the files, but it looks quite strange the frequency in which odt files are destroyed

Actual Results:
The only step is to open the file

Expected Results:
the file is corrupted

Reproducible: Sometimes

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
In theory the file is anormal odt file so Libreoffice has to handle without any problem

Hello Antonio,
yes, LibreOffice claims the document is corrupted.
Could you please explain what you did right before the document get corrupted ?
Comment 3 Julien Nabet 2020-07-31 18:09:04 UTC
Do you save your file on a local disk or on a network?

Indeed, renaming the file into an zip and try to unzip it, I get:
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
