Description Ray 2020-08-06 19:35:30 UTC
Description:
When editing in Write creating an outline document and manually making a numbered or lettered list and use tabs to indent each line, the tabs are deleted in the line just typed when 'enter' is pressed to go to the next line or paragraph. The tabs can be re-entered by using the arrow-keys and going up to the line that just lost the tabs and re-tabbing then using the arrow-keys to move back down to the next line. This is repeated every time a new numbered or lettered line with tabs is used.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Type a line for a list of items that are numbered or lettered and indent with tab or tabs
2.Pre "ENTER" for next item in list.
3.Move back up to line just typed and re-insert tabs needed.
4.Move back down to new line and repeat 1,2,3 above.

Actual Results:
Tabs in previous listed line disappear until re-entered.

Expected Results:
Same thing happens every time.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
The inserted tabs should never be deleted when you go to a new line in a numbered or lettered list.

Ray, thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

Installed 7.0.0.3 and tested for symptoms of write-up. Found that there has been no improvement in the action reported as a bug.

NOTE: My previously installed version 6.3.6.2 did not notify my of the new available version.

Also I do not really know how far back before version 6.0.0.0 this has been going on since I have not attempted this type of format and process before that update. I have just been waiting for the correction to happen.

Dear Ray,
Could you please try to reproduce it with a master build from http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ ?
You can install it alongside the standard version.
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the master build
