Description Christoph Thielecke 2020-08-14 14:05:44 UTC
When exporting a bigger presentation containing a lot of references to bigger images, impress can fillup all memory.
The presentation has ~200 slides, each linked image is ~5MB, ~200 images are linked.
Mostly the application will crash/killed by OS.
The export will fail always.

It would be nice if there would be a memory limit in impress that is not overridden.
To solve the problem, impress could export some slides, save parts from memory into pdf, cleanup memory and repeat until all slides are done.

A possible workaround is to export only 25 slides and concatinate the pdf files manually by another program.
