Description:
New DOCX files not compatible with Office Compatibility Pack 12.0.6514.5001

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Writer
2. Type something
3. Save as DOCX
4. Open in Word 2003 with Office Compatibility Pack

Actual Results:
Opening error

Expected Results:
Yes, it's old.. but would be nice if it worked

You have Word 2003 still around as far I know.. Everything is opening with an error since the full comp-ability got enabled. 

Not surely bit of dying area so not sure if it's worth the effort etc.. so feel free to close

I can't confirm. I have Office 2003 with the compatibility pack, and I have never run into troubles with opening LO generated docx files.  Tested with both 7.1 and 7.0.

Confirmed that native2.docx contains
<w:compat>
<w:compatSetting w:name="compatibilityMode" w:uri="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/word" w:val="15"/>
</w:compat>

I have the same version of the compatibility pack.  (found the version number under add/remove programs, Compatibility pack - support information.)

Hmm, it's always failing for me.. MS Office Word 2003 11.8307.8221 SP3 Dutch

An error popups the document can't be opened
