Description: When creating a New "OpenDocument Text.odt", Libreoffice defaults to "A4" Paper Format even though Language settings are detected "Default - English (US)" However, when creating a New "OpenDocument Spreadsheet.ods", LibreOffice properly defaults to "Letter" Paper Format. This has happened in the latest LLibreOffice 7.0 Stable Release, 6.46 Stable Release, and 6.45 Stable Release. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Right-click on the desktop a blank area in a folder in Windows. This brings up the Context Menu. 2. Select New, the Select OpenDocument Text. 3. A "New OpenDocument Text.odt" is Created. 4. Double-click the "New OpenDocument Text.odt" file to open it. 5. Select Format, Page Style, then click the Page tab. 6. Under Page Format, the Format is WRONG. Actual Results: The actual results under Page Format Format: A4 Expected Results: The expected results under Page Format Format: Letter Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Performing the Steps above, but creating a "New OpenDocument Spreadsheet.ods" results in a properly created file with Page Format, Format: Letter -- abiding by the Language settings detected by LibreOffice.
Confirmed. Version: 7.0.0.3 (x64) Build ID: 8061b3e9204bef6b321a21033174034a5e2ea88e CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: threaded The document launch of STR is being done from the context menu of WDM integration--and resulting ODT has a weird corruption of the default standard template with an A4 size page but units and tabs seem correct for US locale. Just the page size of A4? The ODT dropped to desktop shows as if coming from cache with its meta.xml showing <meta:generator>LibreOffice/6.1.5.2$Linux_X86_64 LibreOffice_project/10$Build-2 @Mike?
