Description:
In Writer, I selected a small part of the text.
I deselected it, but the highlighted zone remained there even it the text was not anymore selected.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a few words;
2. Click some other area of the document to deselect.
3.

Actual Results:
Nothing bad, only the previous highlighted area remains there.

Expected Results:
The selected area should be not highlighted


Reproducible: Sometimes


User Profile Reset: No

Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and re-test?
