Description Telesto 2020-08-24 18:16:58 UTC
Description:
Make the yellow Missing Hyphenation data more helpful

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the example file without dictionary for Hungarian installed
2. You get a nice yellow info toolbar

And note: I personally find the distinction Hyphenation <-> Dictionary slightly confusing. Dictionary includes Hyphenation; right?Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: 8700bace8c0714d853f5df6918ab9c8bb3d81f77
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

Actual Results:
A toolbar.. but now way to install

Expected Results:
* Ideally click here to install; for lazy people
* Maybe more realistic: a link where you can download the Hyphenation pack

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

I agree, and with the new "tight additions" it should be easy to add. See https://yusufketen.com/post/2020-08-31-libreoffice-gsoc-final-report/
Comment 3 Rizal Muttaqin 2020-10-22 09:01:30 UTC
Should Additions dialog show all available hyphenations or dictionaries (I don't know which category it should be) or just locale user version? Or may be show all available hyphenations/dictionaries with locale user version as the first item then similar or close locale (like pt-BR & pt-PT) and the rest all non related locale

We have a tag Dictionaries but not Hyphenation. And many extensions provide both, the word list and hyphenation.
