Description Kevin Barnes 2020-08-29 21:37:49 UTC
Description:
I Have been using using Libre Office 6.4.4 fine. I Clicked the new version 6.4.6 icon to download new version as requested. Down load file downloaded ok. Then install finished I thought OK. Restarted lap top to ensure all changes had been made correctly. But Libre Office would not open. Tried the install again to modify / fix /or remove option. No change then got message MS installer not responding.

So I had to remove it and go back to installing version 6.4.4. Which did install and work properly again.

My laptop has just been updated to the new MS Windows 10 version 2004 from version 1990. If this is the problem??

Sorry Im not an expert so best I can describe the problem.

Steps to Reproduce:
1 remove
2. reinstall
3.fail

Actual Results:
install not working

Expected Results:
still not installing

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
So I re installed version 6.4.4. again and it is back working as before

I tried several times to update to that version and it just would not load after. So I downloaded the the newer more technical version no problems. I don't know what more I could tell you with my limited knowledge.(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #1)
