Pick an font color & press Apply 4. Change your mind and set it back to automatic 5. Press OK 6. Sidebar -> Styles -> Default Paragraph style -> Modify -> Font Effects 7. Select a Font color & press OK -> Not applied to the text body 8. Sidebar -> Styles -> Text Body -> Modify -> Font Effects 9. Press Standard & Press OK -> Now it works Actual Results: I assume 'automatic' means inherited. But that's clear not the case Expected Results: automatic should mean inherited. If you set an attribute on a children it will not change if the parent is modified. And there is no easy way to revert attribute settings as discussed in bug 89826. So what happens is that you set automatic font color for Text Body (could be any other value) and switching on/off doesn't change that. If you change the value of the parent "Default" it will not be taken into the children. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 89826 ***
