Please change this bug report, to point specifically to a single problem. It should be obvious at which point to look to see the problem ("Compare it with a pdf viewer" is not a good description; something like "See a butterfly-like shape at the bottom-right corner of page 2 - it's green in Adobe Acrobat Reader X.Y.Z, but yellow in Draw" would be better; even better would be a screenshot with a side-by-side comparison of the problematic place). If there are several problems (one would be wrong colors; another would be missing text, etc), then please file several bugs - one per problem. Thanks!
Thanks for reply, it seems that I can't edit the initial description. Let's assume that this bug is for text rendering only, which is the main and most important problem IMHO.
(In reply to lced2-lo from comment #2) Yes, there's no way to edit posts (but title is editable). Please just post a next comment with detailed description - what is missing where. Then the title could be changed to something like "Text is missing in specific PDF (description in comment 4)". And the comment 0 could be tagged "obsolete" for ease of understanding of the bug report. Thanks!

The "alias" and "URL" fields start looking like spam - please remove these to avoid closing INVALID with deletion request. Thanks.

Dear lced2-lo, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
Based on comment 5 is this bug a WFM?
Sorry, I don't know what WFM is, I can say that behaviour is still there in 7.4.3.
(In reply to lced2-lo from comment #14) > Sorry, I don't know what WFM is, I can say that behaviour is still there in > 7.4.3. In comment 5 you have said: "It's done, I've found the "real" bug after playing around while updating the bug report." So, I thought you found a solution to your problem and that we can close this bug as WFM (Work For Me). But if NOT I will mark the bug as New again.
The "real" bug is that text is hidden by several layers in front of them, so the native rendering is not good and needs manual manipulations. So no, unfortunately it's not a WFM.
