Description:
Direct formatting is partly deleted when replacing paragraph style

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open the attached file
2. Select the partly yellow marked text
3. Sidebar -> Styles Deck -> Select a paragraph style -> Say text body

Actual Results:
Yellow marking disappears.. rest still present

Expected Results:
Yellow marking unaffected


Reproducible: Always


User Profile Reset: No

Comparing your highlight with a "normal" highlight of the text with Style Inspector, in the normal highlight we have a "Char Highlight of -1". In your case this attribute is not here.

I enter a new line after your text, select just a part of the text and apply highlight. Compare the attributes.
