Description Felipe Viggiano 2020-09-14 00:21:40 UTC
When entering the Edit Links dialog, the update option chosen by the user is not showed in the Update area of the dialog, it shows Manual every time.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new Calc spreadsheet;
2. Insert a linked object via Insert > Object > OLE Object;
3. In the Insert OLE Object dialog choose the Create from file option, choose an external spreadsheet and click the option Link to file and click OK;
4. Go to the Edit Links dialog (Edit > Links to external files)

Expected results:
The Update area should show the updating option chosen by the user (automatic or manual);

Actual results:
It shows Manual every time.

Hello Felipe,

this don't looks like bug. In "https://help.libreoffice.org/7.0/en-US/text/shared/01/02180000.html?System=WIN&DbPAR=WRITER&HID=cui/ui/baselinksdialog/dialog-action_area1#bm_id4889980" is written this: "The Automatic option is only available for DDE links."

Please look at this and tell us, when you agree or disagree.
