Super short and simple example.

I tried to position the cursor at the end of a sentence in which a comment ended just before the final period on the line, and found Writer wouldn't position the cursor there.

I could sweep right from the position before the period, to make a selection extending to the end of the line, or I could use the arrows or the End key to position the cursor at the end of the line - but not with the mouse.
