Dear All,

I have noticed the following behavior both for:

libreoffice-7-0~2020-09-15_19.39.00_LibreOfficeDev_7.0.2.0.0_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz
master~2020-09-10_21.26.34_LibreOfficeDev_7.1.0.0.alpha0_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz

1) Start libreofficedev7.[01]
2) Open "New Text Document" per Ctrl+N
3) Tools > Options > LibreOfficeDev > Application Colors
4) Change "Application background" color to Dark Blue 2
5) Click on Apply
6) The color is changed only within a rectangle between the rulers (see WriterScreenshot1)
7) Click OK
8) The color is changed in the areas above the horizontal ruler and left of the vertical ruler as well as in the left top Tab rectangle (see WriterScreenshot2)
9) Close Writer window and reopen it per Ctrl+N
10) The color is changed as well in the areas on the left and right of the horizontal ruler and top and bottom of the vertical ruler (see WriterScreenshot3)

This is just a blemish rather than a serious issue. Nevertheless, maybe you want to fix it.

Regards
Tom

I can confirm that the painting only happens between the ruler(s) and the document first. I can then resize the window so it colours all around the ruler(s).

And I also just saw that I needed to close and reopen LO for the new colour to be entirely applied.
