no color doc

Hi, I have this bizarre bug on my LibreOffice install where colouring text does not actually make it display anything other than black. It seems literally nobody else has this bug because I can't find any other report of it. If I render the document as a pdf it shows the colour just fine. 

I have attached a recording and the document file in question

Is it reproducible in SafeMode (Help => Restart in SafeMode)?

Well, I accidentally factory reset my install. Now the problem is gone, even with all my old addons.
