Created attachment 165676 [details] The test document We use a Microsoft Office created template where we have a fixed footer. If we use this template in LibreOffice we notified when adding text that spans more than one page, the logo in the footer partly disappears. Whatever we do, it stays like this. In Microsoft Office using the vertical ruler resolves this problem, when using this in LibreOffice we see different behavior. I added our test document and two screenshots, one depicting how Microsoft Office neatly solves this issue, the other how LibreOffice messes it up. I 'm not really sure if this is a bug in the behavior of the ruler, or if this is a specific docx bug..

I'm not sure, if this is really a bug or not, but with the following steps, you can solve your problem: 1. Select logo and open context menu 2. Wrap => Change from "Background" to "None" or "Before" (depends on waht result do you prefer) Does this work?
Created attachment 165711 [details] The test document compared MSO LO I don't confirm the bug. My open in MSO 2016 is as in LO 7.1+ and different from "using the ruler in MS Office". Moreover, footer logo in MSO is Wrap behind Text. So, please reconsider. Note: please attach screenshot compared and explained, instead of single images.
Hi Dieter, this solves the issue, thanks. Maybe I should rephrase my issue: I'll see if i can focus on either the difference in behavior of the ruler in LO en MSO. I'll also retest if the logo partly disappearing is something that also happens while using MSO. If I find the time I'll create new bugs for that. This issue can be closed. Thanks all for the feedback.
