Description SusanTN 2020-09-22 13:13:26 UTC
Description:
I have a spreadsheet with a 2 datasets with a header 97 counties, cases, deaths, and positive ratio for each.

One is today and one is yesterday. The center column tracks the day's changes

Each day i zero it out by copying today to yesterday before updating today's.

Today I decided to track the increase or decrease in the positive ratio and decided to sum the total, with the spreadsheet in it's zero'd state I did not get 0% like I expected.

I got 0.01%.

I removed the percent formatting and saw I had 7.22573e-05. as the total from adding up a column of what should have been 0% numbers. So I took off formatting on the columns.

Subtracting 8.65% from 8.65% gave me 3.84615e-05
Subtracting 13.33% from 13.33% gave me 3.3333e-05
Subtracting 9.09% from 9.09% gave me -9.0909e-06
