Description:
The standard format is US Letter instead of A4.

I have to inform you that I use the 7.0.1.2 from Launchpad.
Normally with the german langage pack the standard is set to A4. But now in Writer, Draw and Impress I have to change the format.
Probably this is only with the PPA version.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a document.
2. The standard format is US Letter.
3.

Actual Results:
US Letter

Expected Results:
The standard for european releases should be A4

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I have the same release for Windows (Win7). There is all as it should be

I found a solution:

In My LO the language was german and the region was Germany. However the page format was US-Letter.

I changed the language and the region to USA. Restart

Now I changed the region and language to Germany (Austria). 2nd restart.

And now the standard page format is A4.

Simple solution, but I should not have to do it.

As you have noticed the settings depend on Locale settings:
Tools - Options - Language Settings - Formats - Locale Setting:

if I choose german (Germany) and restart LO the format is A4. It's correct. The same for german (Austria).

Maybe there should be a notice that a restart is required.

@BogdanB
You are right, it's in the local settings, but when in your LO all settings are correct (german/Austria) and the standard is US letter, you are not immediately able to find the solution.
