Description John 2020-09-24 13:47:45 UTC
Description:
I attach a small file which, I hope, illustrates the problem. The two lines were originally identical. I did a spell check on the first line (via F7) and told the system to ignore each error it found. At the end of the 'no change' checking, the system had underlined initial words & changed the font colour (ie to match subsequent words which were originally an internet link. NB I have changed the Internet link to make it anonymous.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. See above description.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Underlined and changed colour for text.

Expected Results:
No change.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
See attachment.

Thank you reporting the bug. I cannot reproduce the bug in

Maybe you sent the file after you spellchecked it?

I also tested with the second line as it seemed to match your original described state, but I didn't get the bad effect.

I am still having the problem. I have attached a further (less edited) file which shows the problem. There are separate attachments of PDF file produced from the attached file and after spell checker.

No problem for me

I can't reproduced with:

Version: 7.0.6.2 (x64)
Build ID: 144abb84a525d8e30c9dbbefa69cbbf2d8d4ae3b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: en-AU (en_AU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Nor with:

Version: 7.3.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 67f2a99229101757af4f40118f4d3c83ba38648b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-AU (en_AU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Marking this as WORKSFORME as three people have been unable to reproduce.

John, if you are still witnessing the issue, could you please test again on a fresh install of a recent version of LibreOffice, please? And if you still reproduce (with a fresh user profile), feel free to reopen this bug (by setting it to UNCONFIRMED and sharing your version details)
Comment 9 John 2021-07-31 14:30:04 UTC
As requested, I made a new installation of version 7.1.5.2. I used the following files:
   LibreOffice_7.1.5_Win_x64
   LibreOffice_7.1.5_Win_x64_helppack_en-GB

In Tools, Options, Writing Aids
a. Deselected en-US.
b. Selected 'Check words with numbers'.

I then opened the test file and each time a check was requested, I clicked on ignore.

The problem was repeated.

NB If I do not select 'Check words with numbers', the problem does not occur.
Comment 10 Stéphane Guillou (stragu) 2021-08-01 14:43:25 UTC
Reproduced as described in comment 9 with:

Version: 7.0.6.2 (x64)
Build ID: 144abb84a525d8e30c9dbbefa69cbbf2d8d4ae3b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: en-AU (en_AU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

and

Version: 7.3.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 67f2a99229101757af4f40118f4d3c83ba38648b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19042; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-AU (en_AU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

The whole paragraph is styled like the hyperlink after ignoring all spellcheck suggestions.

Thank you for the extra details, John!
