the string for the property deck is very generic and didn't fit perfect, ok you change stuff there but compare to other deck names, property is really generic.

Would "Document Properties" be the epiphany for you?
Comment 2 andreas_k 2020-09-28 07:31:51 UTC
No cause "Document Properties" are file -> properties.

How about "Edit Style"?

Nope, Styles are best handled in the Styles deck, and the Properties deck should reflect applied style or direct formatting if that is in use.

The 'Properties' exposed in the content panels of the context sensitive Deck are simply the properties of the Object with GUI focus. It does not get much simpler than that.

Though some of us have long preferred it not be the default opening deck for the Sidebar, e.g. bug 65351 that never gained traction.

Oh and a -1 to any change from 'Properties' name for the deck.

Right, even while paragraphs and tables have a default style same doesn't apply to shapes and other objects.

We could rename it into "Attributes" but I doubt that wouldn't be better.
