Description LG 2020-09-29 09:19:34 UTC
Description:
I apply a "UPPERCASE" case effect on "H1" and "H2" styles : The document is correctly update but the table of contents (toc) still presents original titles (lowercase).

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a document with a TOC
2.Enter a H1 title in lowercase
3.Set the property "case effects" of the style H1 to "Uppercase"
4.Update the TOC

Actual Results:
The TOC shows the titles in lowercase.

Expected Results:
The TOC should show the title in uppercase as it is displayed in the document

Reproducible: Always

I can't use paragraph style Heading 1 as a style of a TOC level. You can? Please attach a smaple document as that makes it easier for us to reproduce the bug. Thank you.

I can't too.
Just enter a H1 title in lower case and add the lower to upper case transformation, then generate the TOC : the TOC content is in lower case.

Comment 4 Dieter 2020-11-09 07:01:07 UTC
That's not a bug:
1. Open attachment from comment 3
3. Cursor in TOC => Context menu => Edit index
4. Tab "Styles" => Paragraph style of level 1 is "Contents 1"
5. Change paragraph style "Contents 1"to UPPERCASE
6. Update index
