Description: In the information line at bottom, one has access to the coordinates, height and length of shapes. It would be useful to also have the surface and perimeter length as well (think for example of polygons). I think it is too much effort to always calculate such an entry, and I don't see enough space for it in the status bar. I think, that it is a nice topic for a macro to calculate this on demand.
Created attachment 165968 [details] Status line in Draw Concerning the calculation load: solely the position is recalculated permanently (this is the mouse position if nothing is selected). The measure (length and height, and possible perimeter and surface) calculations need only to be actuated when the dimensions are changed or a point moved around. As for the space, with a reasonable window size as in the attachment, I see plenty of empty space. Enough to add 2 icons and 2 numbers at least. I agree that could be an add-on but I don't know where / who to ask for this. Have a nice day, Vincent.
