Confirmed. Would be nice to have preview. Version: 7.0.1.2 (x64) Build ID: 7cbcfc562f6eb6708b5ff7d7397325de9e764452 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: ro-RO (ro_RO); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Yes, would be nice to have the same preview as in Impress.
Created attachment 166499 [details] Table Style Preview As previews for tables need more space, what if we have an preview at the bottom of the Styles sidebar? there you can show the previews which are already available in the dialog. Problem, when you select a style you see the preview, but the style of the tabel change also.

Good idea. I think at the bottom is the best place. How is it visually separated from the styles list? > Problem, when you select a style you see the preview, but the style of the > tabel change also. One click: preview is shown but style is not assigned to table. Double-click: preview is shown and style is assigned to table. I see no problem here?
