Created attachment 165972 [details] Zip file containing WRITER file containing text copied from the enclosed pdf Version: 7.0.0.3 (x64) Build ID: 8061b3e9204bef6b321a21033174034a5e2ea88e CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB Calc: threaded Open the attached Writer file. The text has been copied over from the attached pdf (using Ctrl + V then selecting the "Unformatted text" option), then formatted using either line breaks or paragraph breaks (see below) 1. The first headline "WATER-RELATED INFRASTRUCTURE IN MEDIEVAL LONDON" has been created using line-breaks. The lines are INCORRECTLY CENTERED. 2. The second headline "WATER-RELATED INFRASTRUCTURE IN MEDIEVAL LONDON" has been created using paragraph breaks. The lines are CENTERED CORRECTLY. CONCLUSION: The centering problem, when it appears, affects ONLY centered paragraphs which have been broken with line breaks. 3. Now open the Heading 2 dialog and press RESET then OK. RESULT: The centering corrects itself. However, there is no change in the property values on that page and the correction does not follow logically from the definition of the RESET button in the helpfiles, namely: "Resets changes made to the current tab to those applicable when this dialogue box was opened."

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Even though the "Heading 2" paragraph style indents read ZERO in the "Indents and Spacing" tab, the lines which have been created by line breaks are still off centre, and you need to press "RESET" to centre them.
R. Green: are you still able to reproduce this by copying from the PDF? I'm not sure which steps exactly we should take. I tried doing it from scratch, but it worked fine. So, AFAIK, it's fixed.
Ok, let's close and be happy
