I don't thing above bug has any relation to dark mode of Windows (as it was marked as request for dark mode support).

Read bug description more carefully, please - it is for BUILT-IN themes of LibreOffice.

OK, why a picture is worth a thousand words...

Confirmed

Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: fca525d570f4fada3db1a9bbee2e88a5a02839d9
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Simple STR.

Open Draw.
Tools -> Options -> Personalization, select a 'Preinstalled' theme
Note Drawing toolbar docked Left and vertical has no theme color applied
Unlock Drawing toolbar
Undock Drawing toolbar, and drag attach to horizontal position (Bottom or Top)
Same Drawing toolbar now takes the 'Preinstalled Theme' background color.

Of course IIRC this 'theming' is held over from abandoned Firefox Personas work. Looking at the personalization.cxx and content of gallery/personas has only ever been applied to the 'Header' and 'Footer', i.e. the main menu and the docked horizontal toolbars. It has never affected more UI components and certainly does not respond to full os/DE provided theming.

Might be helpful to apply to toolbars when docked to vertical position, but hardly seems worth dev effort.

True, has not been reported yet.

Can we consider this as WFM since LO 7.4 now supports dark mode in Windows?

I wonder if we should drop the "Personalization/LibreOffice themes" feature. At least in Linux it does not look good.

Hi !
I can NOT find such a option in version 7.4.1.
Color scheme "LibreOffice Dark" in Options->Application colors do NOT change color of menu bar, nor toolbars (see attachment; my Windows is in dark mode)

attachment shows experimental support at 7.4 for Windows os/DE Dark mode make previous Personalization and 'LibreOffice Dark' unnecessary

Tools -> Options -> Advanced -- 'Enable experimental features (may be unstable)'

Moved out of experimental already at 7.5

And while in Options, set Options -> Application Colors back to default LibreOffice, allow the 'Automatic' handling for Windows os/DE Dark mode to now assert. But you may want to set a 'Document background' and 'Font color' to something other than automatic that will remain white bg with black fg.

Also, best to just disable use of Themes in the Options -> Personalization -- it is broken and needs rework (bug 125217) to continue to be of any use, so don't.

Yes, now I see :)

Great job :) !
Thank you !

As for me, the job is done and ticket can be marked "solved" :)

Best wishes !

It is still valid regards use of the Personalization themes, so closing as duplicate of bug 125217 that still needs design and dev attention.
