Description: All is in the summary Steps to Reproduce: Open Writer on a dual screen windows host, ask for a new window on the opened document and maximize both windows on its own screen. Actual Results: According to the focused window, typing text occurs as expected, or produces severe screen flickering and makes the cursor visual bounce beyond line ending (insertion point is kept). Expected Results: work as usual within a single window Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: n/a
Here's more details: The behavior occurs when working on a single writer document displayed through two different windows thanks to the "new window" menu entry to create them. These windows being lying onto their own screen (I work on a dual screen host, I didn't checked on a single screen). While writing into a window, the other one is also displaying the opened document, eventually reflecting document changes according to keystrokes and scroll position. In some configuration, according to which document window is displayed onto which screen, the window's redrawing is badly flickering. FTR, my screen configuration is [Screen#2][Screen#1].
