Description Dan Dascalescu 2020-10-23 18:44:19 UTC
Writer underlines "Romania" as a typo, and suggest "Roumania" instead.
Comment 1 Xisco Faulí 2020-10-27 11:26:15 UTC
These are the occurrences found for Roumania https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/search?full=%22Roumania%22&defs=&refs=&path=&hist=&type=&xrd=&nn=19&searchall=true
Comment 2 [REDACTED] 2020-10-27 13:03:28 UTC
Can't confirm using

Version: 7.0.2.2, Build ID: 8349ace3c3162073abd90d81fd06dcfb6b36b994
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: kf5
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US, Calc: threaded

Installing Romanian dictionary from Romanian language pack and setting paragraph to "Romanian" language correctly suggests "România". Setting paragraph to "English (USA)" correctly accepts spelling as "Romania". So it is quite unclear, what the bug is about.

According to https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/search?full=%22Romania%22&defs=&refs=&path=dictionaries&hist=&type=&xrd=&nn=19&searchall=true
/dictionaries/en/en_US.dic does contain "Romania" and

$user@system> grep ^Romania en_US.dic
Romania/M
Romanian/MS

It is unclear why the problem appears on your system.

According to the current result, en_AU.dic and en_CA.dic have Roumania. Dan: are you using Australian or Canadian English?
